Will he play while wearing the snowboard? Very critical piece of the equation here.

I'd rather have Ryder on the cheap ( 4th round pick or so) than give up a 2nd rounder in a deep draft and a top prospect for the likes of Chris Stewart or Cam Atkinson.

Out of all the guys rumored to be available out there Ty, who would you go after and at what price if you were GM?

I would have been in on a Jagr/Zidlicky package. Useful pieces that wouldn't break the bank. But, I'm not 100 percent on any one piece being the answer, really. I think Vermette is sorta overrated/his best days are behind him. I don't think Stewart is the answer. I don't know, to be honest. It's a deadline where I'd see if you could make a lateral move of sorts, see if you could work a hockey trade that has an eye towards the future as well as in the now. And those are tough to do.

I don't imagine there would be much of a return, 4th or 5th round pick at best, but I think someone picks him up before the deadline. It wasn't Lou who destroyed his stock, it was Ryders play he was given chances anywhere from the top line to third line. he wasn't generating shots and it really looked like he was just mailing it in. At one point this season he blamed his ice time and at that time he was averaging around 18 minutes a night.

If Arizona can take a bad contract back would this allow the Bruins to free themselves of the cap jail they are in, and as compensation provide some extra value in way of draft picks.

they need somebody to come and shake up the locker room, there's something wrong when these guys can go on a dominant stretch and then look like a bunch of zombies for a month after. Somebody who has a bit of leadership skills, no tag a longs are gonna make a difference here.

Would never happen. You can't trade garbage for top talent. Yandle will probably cost a 1st. a prospect(tries not to laugh at Providence, fails) and a defenseman going back. Which would not be Bartkowski or Seidenberg. They want Krug.

Also I would give up anything more than a 2nd for Vermette.
